Hey Herp. 4mos old and 4ft? Are you sure of the age? I have yearlings that are barely 5 and they've never missed a meal since their first. Anyway, it sounds like she has not been handled much. Young burms are often nippy, but usually calm down quickly. Try wearing an old t-shirt for a day. Take it off and put it in her hide box or enclosure. Leave it in there for a while so she associates your scent with a "safe" place. Replace the shirt as needed of course. I know getting bit isn't any fun but keep working with her. Try and make it as trouble free for her as possible. They do remember bad experiences so end your sessions on a good note. The shirt trick is used by some keepers who work with highly venomous snakes. Hang in there and be patient. She should calm down in time.(keep her away from your face!) Rich
