I have recently decided to join GVI with a project in south africa and I was wondering if anyone has done any fund raising for something simular. If so do you have any advice on effective fund raising. The one year project and equipment will run over $10,000 USD so this is going to be a very daunting task and any advice would be greatly helpful. Thanks!

O.K. here's a freebie-
See if you or anyone in your family has a special talent. Such as weaving an indian blanket or can do handy-man work; that would be willing to give thier services for free to you. Then auction them off.
Now that I think about it....I want my dollar!
