Shedding Problems

crbrlb May 13, 2009 09:22 PM

My Gecko is a 4 year old female. She has never had any problems shedding until recently. We feed her crickets that are calcium fed and dusted. She is in a 20 gallon aquarium with a heat lamp on top. I spray the tank daily and give her fresh water. She still has old skin on 3 legs (I removed the old skin off one leg with moist Q-tip yesterday when I tried another leg she went crazy so I stopped.) and the back feet are swollen. There is also skin on her tail and face. She seems to be miserable. She got fresh crickets today and didn't eat which is very unusual for her she always eats 3 to 5 when we buy new ones. I love my lizard and want her to be okay can any one help??

soak in lukewarm water for a few minutes.
Try that a few days in a row. That should do it...and build a humid hide.
