This was my first season letting my female anthills incubate maternally. I offered them a small fuzzy after about a week and they all took it. I was kind of surprised by this as I feel like I have read that they don't usually eat while on the eggs. Does anyone else feed females while incubating?

Feeding females while on eggs?

I did this year, and she came off the eggs to take food from the cage floor...then went right back to doing her thang!
