My little auriceps laid one of her two remaining eggs yesterday morning, it was broken when I found it. She's eating so i guess she isnt feeling too terrible, but stil got one to go, and its been 5 days now. She hasnt been in either lay box since saturday, I've soaked her and she seems to be ok with that a few times a day

My poor wt girls are just having the hardest time! the one has pushed out 6 eggs and she was bouncing all over the place and eating yesterday, and today, she seems to be trying to strain another one out! The other just does not feel good. I couldn't get in to see the vet, so I just have to act on instincts over the weekend and hope she survives!

Hey how's she doing?

My Auriceps finally spent the night in her lay box, the lights came on about 5 hours ago and she has been digging furiously in there all morning. I hope this means she is planning on laying her last egg this morning, today is DAY 8 (omg can they do that!!), and I'm hopeful that she passes it without a hitch. She hasnt looked like she's been straining or making any attempt to get it out, just been normal if a little lethergic.

Fingers crossed...

She developed a severe prolapse and i lost her overnight. I explained in a thread farther up.

I sure hope your little girl lays today! Please keep us posted!
