Female's tail is getting thin!!

Tolc101 Sep 13, 2003 11:08 AM

I have 4 leos and this one female that I have use to have the fattest tail of the whole bunch. Now her tail is getting noticably thinner. She won't eat the crix that are just hopping around in her tank. Her poop is fine so I don't think it is parasites. So I tried wax worms for the first time. she ate two but I don't want her hooked on wax worms b/c I know the danger of that, but that's all she ever eats. what does any one have any ideas?

what are the temps in the cage, the warm side should be 88 to 90 deg and the cool side 75 to 80 deg. The leos need belly heat to help them digest. if there isn't enough heat, they may not eat or will regergitate their food so it doesn't rot in their stomach.

She may have worms or other parasite too??!! check your temps first!
