Dave: You'll Want To See This

fgs May 15, 2009 12:44 PM

A friend of mine had run out of cages and asked me to take care of a few of his snakes while he's waiting for a boaphile rack to come in. As I was going through my animals this moring in preperation for the Herp World Expo this weekend. I couldn't help noticing how beautiful this Brazilian Rainbow Boa was. The Cool thing about it is that it was produced by my good friend Dave Colling (owner of Rainbows-R-Us Reptiles).

Dave: I must say that you produce some of the most beautiful BRBs I've ever seen.

Keep up the great work over there. I may become one of your BRB customers very soon.

Best of luck with the rest of your season buddy.

LOL, that one is looking great. PM me the owners name so I can figure out which one and I'll post a baby pic of it.

It's mostly in selective breeding, although a fair amount has to do with acquiring the right seed animals and holding back the best of the best for future breeders. (not exactly a secret)

Funny ting is I actually have a pair of my 2005 babies back on a boarding/breeding agreement. It is cool to see how they turn out!!!

Thanks,

that's a very nice looking BRB, great crescents and love the 'almost' stripe on the back. Having fun being a snake-sitter Brian? I bet you let them stay up past bedtime.

I do miss my BRBs, they are very interesting snakes, just not my cup of tea anymore.
Thanks for sharing the pic!
