yesterday i bought my first water dragon, i am not new to herps in general just to water dragons. he is about 10" long right now, my question is how much and how often do you feed him, at the pet store he was fed 1/8"- crickets and wax worms once a day. thanks for your help.

As much as he wants to eat. They cannot be overfed as juviniles, so let him eat as often and as much as he wants. 1/8 inch crickets are way too small, he could eat 1/2 inch easily, and he wouldn't have to eat as many to be satisfied. Waxworms are good for a treat. They also like feeder fish, earthworms, mice, superworms and other feeder insects. He is a little small for mice, mine ate a pinky mouse for the first time at 11 inches.
