"Alright, Mom.....

....you can put all the plants in my tank that you want, UNTIL it interrupts my feeding!"

Heh... I went to feed my dear Eddie last week and wish I'd had my camera. I'd just ordered him rat pups because he's been on adult mice forever and I thought it might be time to move him up to something bigger. I had a thawed one in the forceps and he lunged for it so aggressively that he missed and caught a Pothos leaf in his mouth. He wrapped around it tightly, like he always does with mice, and it took a good couple of minutes before he could "Bleh!" spit it back out. I apologized and moved the leaves before offering the rat the second time. I left his other three rats on the top of his log hide, where he usually eats them. He scarfed them down.

He came out looking for more Saturday morning, so I thawed four more for him and he ate them within a few minutes. Long live my garbage-disposal Florida King.

Be very glad...pothos are toxic when eaten...beautiful king baby...Helane

That's interesting... are they only toxic to snakes, then? Everything I have read concerning Pothos is that it is the non-toxic plant, while Philodendron is toxic to herps. A trusted, local herp expert even said pothos would be a healthy snack for my bearded dragon.
