Golden geckos

paulstephen Sep 13, 2003 01:28 PM

I recently aquired a pair of golden geckos. I have them in a large cage (much bigger than the one they were in at the pet store). The only problem is, they dont seem to be able to find the food. I put it in a dish, but they dont see it. In the pet store, they would go after the mealworms right away, but now, they dont. Also, one of them keeps hiding under a log. I thought it may just be stress, but now I think it may be thermoregulting. If anyone has any tips on feeding, they would be greatly apprecited. Here is a pic of the cage. THank you

What are you feeding it? ..just let the crickets loose for them to catch (make sure theyre gutloaded), and leave the baby food/fruit, and worms in a dish.
