Howdy. I am considering trading my young female pastel for a boa (I've only owned balls up to this point and would like to give boas a shot, for a change of pace, slightly larger but still manageable, and I'm hoping they are less problematic feeders than all the balls I've owned in the past hehe).

The top two pics are a het male, about one year old. The bottom two are a normal male about two years old. I have no immediate plans for breeding, though if I go with the het that may change. But I am mostly looking for a boa with an awesome red tail. The normal one may be a suri, but I really don't know enough to be able to tell, so I am asking for help.

Also, I have read conflicting things about cage size. For an adult male a large rubbermaid should be sufficient, yes? I have one a little over 4ft long.

I don't know how to upload pics to get them to display as actual images, sorry for my noobness, I hope this works.
