Abino Arabesque X Squaretail

cbmorphs May 18, 2009 06:36 AM

Here's a litter that was born on 5/5/09 from a breeding between an Albino Arabesque X Squaretail...
There were 28 healthy babies and only one slug. Out of the 28 born 13 are Arabesque double het for Albino Squaretail Arabesque... The other 15 are normals het for Albino Squaretails...

All of the Arabesques but one have really nice ladder tails, and a few of them also have the unique colors associated with the Squaretail gene.

I will post updated pics of them later this week...

Thanks for looking!

I'm really happy with the outcome of this breeding and look forward to future breedings with these babies... This project is going to be interesting in a couple of years, I can't wait!

These didn't quite get the response I thought they would, oh well... I think in a couple of years when I produce some Albino & Sunglow Squaretail Arabesque people may take notice then... It seems kind of hard to impress people now days... Thanks for your complements there greatly appreciated!
