Congrats on your clutch. I'm surprised, many might have given up on them. Just curious... What was the temp you kept them on and were you using a Hovabator also? I'm using one ant the temp keep fluctuating from 81.2 to 85.2F. IT odd because the room is a constant 77 degrees. Anyhow congrats and good luck with them.
i took the heating element from a hovabator and put it in a large foam cooler. i have about 10 clutches in there all were hatching at anout day 66. these eggs looked good so i didnt give up. the temp was between 83 and 85.
I have eggs on the shelf that are still good and 127 days as of today!
That seems so odd! The first clutch I ever hatched (seems like eons ago!) I incubated in their soil nest at room temp. All hatched after 80-something days. That's the longest for me.
If the eggs looked good I wouldn't have given up either.
