Thanks Zenny, I thought you'd like to see how your little guy is coming along...

It's too bad that the camera doesn't show off the bright yellow on his belly...

He turned out nice indeed... try turning the flash off when you're in direct sunlight. the natural light should be enough to show his ture color.

The flash was off, the sun was just insanely bright and, well, so is he....

I was worried about taking him outside because he doesn't get handled much, but he was wonderful... His reaction to his first time in the grass was cool...

Beautiful snake!! Very nice!
Zenny had a good tip! Try turning the flash off in sunlight. Also, I happen to get my best pics outside in shade in the middle of the afternoon. The color of the snake are usually right on target with that method for me.

No flash was used, I just have a crappy Kodak easy-share camera that doesn't take good outdoor shots....

Next time I'll try later in the afternoon and see what happens...

Thanks though, he is a beauty...

Looks like your camera would work best on overcast days.

Ya, that's kinda what I was thinking... I got some amazing pics of him when he was smaller against a black background inside... I might have to dig that pillow back out and try to get him to sit still again to show off the day-glow yellow he's got goin on now...

A few photos of my Extreme. Seems more or less that its works best taking a good hundred or so shots and picking the best.
