Is there any signs of worms in BP's?

LeeFobes Sep 13, 2003 02:40 PM

besides getting a fecal exam, can you see worms present in BP feces? i may go ahead and get a fecal exam and probing. how much do these cost? and what should i include in the bag of feces? should i include the solid white chunk of urine?

Most of the time a fecal is needed. All you need to take is a piece of the poop. I wrap mine in a moist paper towel and put it in a zip lock bag. You can keep it a day or so in the fridge before dropping it off at the vet. I mail mine in sometimes....
