So, I got my little guys home today. They are very hyper, at least one of them is at this time. I have to say, I am so glad I read about what they need for the last couple years. Never would have thought to use dirt and have the hot temp over 120. My cage is set up perfect, with hot temp 130 and then goes down from there to 75 on the cool end. Also reading the care sheets at Pro Exotics helped, who would have thought all you have to do is raise the ground up to bring up the heat, so its closer to the bulb, instead of using a bigger bulb. Hahahahaha.
So my question is. Now that I am a pro, just kidding by the way. Is this type of monitor recommended because you learn the basic husbandry with it, and what it takes to care for a smaller one, vs a monster and seeing a feeding response in a smaller frame. The retics have helped me watch that.
All my snakes where on the move tonight, I know they know somthing else is down there. The big one was in feed mode. Makes life interesting when you have to clean a cage.
Thanks again for everyones help, and here is to many more. Although not sure the wife was happy I bought them on our anniversary.
Thank you
Jeff
