Colorado snake ID help

KrazyK19 May 20, 2009 01:58 PM

I saw this snake while in the Colorado front range foothills around 7500 feet. It was just over a foot in length. I think its some type of rattlesnake but am not sure. Any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated.
