How old would a 5inch gecko be if fed properly and all that? I measured my new gecko today and thats how long "it" is. I also noticed those little bulges on the base of its tail, which disapointed me a little since i eventually wanna put it in with Aurora if its a girl. How big do they have to be to be sexed? Stupid me forgot to ask the temp incubated or how old the thing was, and my mom forgot to take the guys card, lol.
Also, I forgot to mention this about the show, but I saw 3 patternless albinos in person and man were they stunning! Quite the price tag too, 500 each. Though I do live in canada so it would probably be less in the US.

Not really sure on the age.
All geckos are different. I have one little girl who was born on 5-6-03 and she's the same size as my 7-24-03 blizzie.
One of the girls I hatched out on 4-11 is almost breedable size. Different geckos, different growth rates.

And as far as the PA prices in the US, it depends on the albino strain. Tremper PAs are around $500, but Rainwater PAs are as low as $350. Trempers are still pretty new tho. Not many breeders work with them yet, the genes were hard to get together it seems =/

I just got back from the MARS show and there was one person there selling two rainwater PA's one was a subadult for $300 and the other one was a hatchling for $225 I think (it might have been $250). I didn't think the hatchling looked ready to be sold though it couldn't have been much over two inches long.

I know they all have different growth rates, I was just looking for an estimate but i guess the only way to know is to have asked the guy (dang!lol).
It didnt say what kinda it was it was just labeled "Patternless Albino: 500$"
I swear the lady must have had alotta room in her house she must have had over 200 geckos for sale and then another table of red tail boas and ball pythons!! Man, I wish i could have that many animals, lol. Thats the next thing i want......a ball python....those things are awsome, though i dont think my parents will go for that, oh well....4 more years....

Trempers are the most common strain. You can even find them at some Petcos.
