Tonight I was feeding some of my recently shed out hatchlings and found one had a bit of a problem. It had taken down a rat pink and in the process managed to wrap up a paper towel onto the rat pinks bottom half. When I checked the snakes I found it most of the way down. The pen is pointing to where it was completely in the throat with another half inch in the babies mouth.

I gently held the mouth open (so no teeth would snag on the paper) and slowly pulled the paper out. Rat pink came with it. Baby seems fine although majorly pissed off.

A good point to all to check in on your animals while they are feeding. Had not found it when I did, it would have likely finished swallowing the paper towel.

Yeah I like checking on them even my adults.

I once had one grab the rat and some skinkin off the side of her neck.

I had to get the forsceps and wiggle it off.

I missed the show this last weekend due to work.

That happen to me also last week!! one of my hypo hogs . He was working on a pinky, but 25% of the paper towel inside him.I pull it right gently. He was piss ,but good thing i caught it..He's doing find now. That was a close call!!!

I had a large one poop a wad of newspaper. Went all the way through. Got lucky. Was a small wad.

I had my 6 foot boa eat newspaper after he completely swallowed the rat. He would cruise his cage and then just take a bite of the newspaper and start downing it! I switched to aspen!

same thing happen but my PTs are smaller and softer looking. I am glad you caught it. I didn't get the rat back with mine.
