i didnt want to post that subject line the way i meant to say it...but heres my problem...

i moved my new adult female ball python into the room with the rest. shes across the room from the adult male i have- hes about 2...shes twice his age...

he had just gotten back his appetite- he was digesting and eating very well!!! until i moved her into the room. now he wont eat again. *sigh*
its MAY!

i was intending on waiting until fall, and cool them and do it the way everyone suggests....but is he more interested in her than his food? even though its may and getting warm. ?

hes such a frustrating boy.....gggrrrr...now i know why his previous owner didnt want to keep him- probably his feeding behaviors put the poor guy off on raising bps...LOL....

anyways, any advice yall can give will be GREAT...thanks bunches!

i just fed her tonight...should i throw him in there for a couple of days and see what happens? or just wait???

well nobody responded but i decided to just try, for the hell of it..
i didnt turn off the heat source, but i will make it sure it doesnt get above 85 so its not sooo warm...i put him in her tank since its bigger.
i offered him food last night before putting him in there, but he still refused it. so shooot..i just threw him in there..LOL.
at first he just laid there looking confused. and then he ended up checking things out.
when i went in there this morning, he was laying with her. i went in there an hour or so later and she had went to the cooler side, leaving him in the warmer side.
15 minutes later or so, he was aiming for her.
when i got home i looked in on them and they were nestled together but HE was laying on their tails so i couldnt see if they were hooked or not. dang it!!!!
either way they look happy lolol
i will leave him in there until monday, i guess, and then offer him food again tuesday and see if he will have settled down enough to eat. i will only put him in with her for a couple/few weeks. if nothing happens then i will put them through the "real" breeding procedures. LOLOL

just wanted to share.
