LOL...I still have one 08 male left
Other than that....a total of 4 adults and one sub-adult. They ARE neat.....
did you have any luck this year with breeding?
No, not this year. I sold some from a friend that had two clutches hatch. There are a few left, I only have one of them left. The secret is rotating males and also cooling. I did the first, not enough of the second. Mid 60's is not enough, evidently. And he got eggs again this year
Yeah - They are tricky for sure. Cooling is no issue for me as my basement will get pretty cold during the winter.
I am going to need another male at some point - going to try and find either a 09 male or maybe another pair this summer... just not sure where I would put the cages when they get big..
I was wondering if you were interested in selling the 08 male? If so shoot me a email on what your asking for it. My email is in my signature.

Thanks,

I love Olives. If I only had the room for some proper enclosures for the beasts, I'd already have 1.1.

1.1 BCI
1.0 Southern White-Lipped Pythons
1.1 Black Milksnakes
I feed my males, 9.5' and 11' every two to three weeks, but males begin to bulk up at that size. About 3 years ago I lost a 12' female that weighed 23lbs. I prefer to keep the males a bit thinner, but feed the females a bit more. My females are 8 and 9'.
Always remember that Olives will eat other snakes so be careful if housing other species with them.
Oh, I'd never house snakes communally, no matter the species.
As much as I absolutely adore the large Liasis, I know I don't have the room for giant snakes. My BCIs and WLPs are as big as I can go.
So I'll have to content myself with drooling over your fine specimens.

Ringed pythons would work well, and possibly Womas for size.

Amazing looking snake. Any suggestions on where I could read up on them?
Allison
Allison -
there are a few places on the net where you can find some information and the book "keeping and breeding australian pythons" has some info.
That said - there are several people here that keep them if you have some questions...
