Reduced Pattern Caramel Albino?

gant77 Sep 13, 2003 03:56 PM

I recently pruchased a 0.1 Tiger/Reduced Pattern and I want to know if I breed her with my (soon to be!) 66% Het. Caramel 1.0. I am wondering if I would be able to eventually produce a Patternless Caramel Albino. Any Thoughts???

If your reduced pattern animal is genetic, and if your 66%
het caramel is actually a het, and you are able to breed them,
the babies will be carriers for both things. Raise those
up and breed them together (bother to sister) and you would
have a 1 in 16 chance of a reduced pattern caramel albino
(assuming that your reduced pattern ball is a simple recessive
gene). It would probably take 4-8 years to accomplish, but
it would be a great looking snake! Good luck.
