Starr County, and across the street.

Went herping in Starr County, on Tuesday between 3:00am- til about 2:00pm. No snakes whatsoever, but the highlight of my trip was this texas banded gecko, and a few frogs and toads. Lots of blue spineys running around.

Then Wednesday afternoon, our neighbor called us over with a snake problem. Turns out he had a juvenile male indigo in his back patio... he would of killed it, if it wasnt for us being home that afternoon. Bagged and relocated to a better area.

we let the house cat get a wif of what an indigo smells like (cat is indoors, he's taken outside under supervision)

Dang! That indigo is SWEET.
The gecko is pretty nice too.
I'm heading out to Vegas next week -
hopefully the herping will be good out there as well.

VERY nice that you get Indigo calls! Oh- I WISH!

99% of my calls are T-rats, Atrox and the meanest/stinkiest snakes in Texas:

This was yesterday- 1 other 'rattlesnake' call yesterday turned out to be... you guessed it- another T-rat.
