99 POS....

Witnessed my first litter this year...not that it was my first it's just the first I was home to watch.

Some have quite the bit of yolk, some still haven't come out of the sac, my first instinct is to let them be.

Do I go in and cut the sacs? Pull them all to a clean rack, and let them absorb?

This is my first pre-term litter, kinda curious as to what I should do...

Looking for any tips..

Thanks for the tips.

19 in the litter no slugs no stills.

1 passed first hour, 3 the following 24...

Remaining 15 have been tied cleaned are now in a CB-70. I noticed the ball effect (all in a big ball) when I cleaned and set them in the tub. They all move together on and off the heat. For now I'll keep them together and regularly mist them.

Thanks

I just lost a few babies by pulling them too soon. I would have to say leave them for at least a day or two, and if they start to dry up, give them a mist. Also keep them warm. You have to let them absorb the contents of the egg. Trust me. You dont want to loose any.

I personally would leave them alone allow them to stay in their sacks and absorb yolk for the next 15-24 hrs, if it goes that long.
I'd crank the heat ambient temp to 90* maybe even 92* with dripping 95%-100% humidity.
Plus something tells me the closer all the babies are together the
better off they are,all close together in a pile
This is my inclination.

I've heard someone describe taking the yolk sac off plus
squeezing excess yolk out of the baby.
I have no idea how that works though.
