how often do bearded dragons shed?

Tough question. Babies shed a lot, almost constant sometimes when they are in the rapid growth stages. Full grown adults, one a year maybe a little more. It really is variable though depending on the dragon.

As often as they need to, depending on rate of growth. Dragons shed the most in their first year or two of life, then it slows down to maybe once or twice a year.

thank you. What are signs of s hedding....I suspect mine might be shedding again depending on his mood when i go to handle him.

I wouldn't say I notice any mood change. Mine rarely even seem to change eating habits either, contrary to what I've read.

when a dragon is about to shed his skin turns milky in color.
