Where to buy deli cups for water

jsschrei May 23, 2009 04:20 PM

Would love to stop having to wash bowls! Looking for disposable deli cups not pre-punched. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Sam's Club. I think it was 160 pcs. 16 oz. For around $24.00

In the back by the restaurant stuff (styrofoam containers, napkins, etc.)

Just a heads up, I tried using them once but went back to using the dog bowls I can get for a buck at the Dollar Store. I never had good luck with the deli cups because they always turn over. Just a thought..

You need a holde-a short section of heavy PVC works well. I use this and very seldom have a spill. You can see my system in the below pic of a pr. of Stillwater Hypo Bullsnakes and their water cup...

I use the pvc/delli cup combo. I got them in the rack I just got from my buddy. He like using them and I haven't had any problems with them so far.

If you happen to be using them for a Vision hatchling rack or some equivalent(3.5 inch tall tub), the 4.5 inch wide 12 oz "Twin Pack" white delis without holes from Superior Enterprise work great. They dont taper too much and are just tall enough to be tip proof.

I use ceramic crocks and never had a spill

I spent a lot on PVC cut my own and bought some 4 inch connectors at lowes and ordered a case of deli cups from seperior, got them all set up and they stayed turned over... not all but too many ...when a 3000 GR ball trys to get in a deli cup, it flips... I went back to dog bowls.... mark sisco

dmasio13 May 24, 2009 03:14 PM

Your going to need something to hold the deli cups go to home depot or lowes and pick up some 4 inch pvc couplings, and if your using some for your hatchling rack pick up 4 inch drain covers they work perfect for the smaller deli cups. Hope this helps

These work great in Iris shoe box containers. I fill them less than half full and they're almost impossible to turn over.

You can also reuse them. I do a quick cleaning and put them in an old dish washer, works great.
