Pics of two of my five Northern Pines

Joeycoco98 May 23, 2009 11:21 PM

First is my CB male coming out of his cage to visit.

Here is an adoption thought to be wild caught male. He is longer than the one above but under weight. He is slamming medium rats so should be up to size soon.

Thanks, I am always torn between my Northerns, Stillwater and Black Milks as my favorite snakes.

Beautiful Pines right there.

IMHO, pines have one of the best faces in the snake world. Ever notice the subtle little protrusion on the supraocular and how that gives them the major "don't mess with me" look? Also like the high profile head shape...they're bad!

Just noticed, did you mean that last one is a supposed WC and you got it on adoption? Geezzzzz what a score! Congrats.

Yep, I am a member of the Chicago Herpetological Society and we have a rescue/adoption service. He came in from an owner that claimed he dislocated his shoulder! He seems very sweet has only hissed once. He has minor scale damage in places so that is why we think he may be wild caught.

Thanks for the response,
Miller

I will need to get one of the babies if she is gravid!!!!! I can't wait to breed my first pit when my females get up to size.
