Memorial Day Padre Island Texas

Here's some pics of my new herpin' buddy and some sea turtles we experienced at the new jetty at Padre Island national Seashore out of Corpus Christi, Texas. Here's Mighty Max, rockin' the water wings! He is my step daughter's soon to be son, making him my soon to be grandson.

I am pretty sure these are Kemp's Ridley sea turtles, most were teenagers, but not mutant or ninja that I could see, lol!

Here's a pair, what looked like a larger male checking out the babes at the beach!

Barnacle Bill the sea turtle. I highly recommend you check out this new jetty if you ever come down this way! Have fun and be safe this holiday, happy herpin'!

Very neat stuff Todd.

Congrats on the "new" herping buddy. Hope he doesn't wear you out!

Where is the new jetty exactly? I was thinking of driving down to the PINS sometime in the next few weeks and wouldn't mind checking it out.

Chris, turn at the first right after entering HWY 361 off 358, it's where the old surf pier used to be left of the condos on PINS/Mustang Island SP.
