Nope. But I've been waiting for some of the Pied sided Blood Red morphs to start making an appearence. Pewters, Peppers, Fires, etc. I figure that its only a matter of time.

The other poster is correct. To date, the PS trait has not shown up in other morphs outside of bloodred. That will HOPEFULLY be proven out this year with South Mountain and/or Bayou.

To date, it has not been proven that PS is simple recessive. Hopefully that will be proven out this year also.

this is the reason I was asking we just started noticing white popping up on the sides similar to the PS

It is hard to say, but I wouldn't call that PS. Admittedly, I have seen a limited number of these in person (5) so I could be wrong. However, you see the ventral white coloration run up into the laterals in a fair amount of corns of any morph.

Currently the trait has not been determined to be simple recessive. I have a female that is PS but has the minimal amount of white on the sides. It is barely noticeable, but the sibling male is showing enough to easily be identified as a PS. Both are from Don and is froma PS x PS Breeding. Some animals show more than others with a few like mine almost showing no white. Much remains to be determined about the trait. It may take anoth year or two.

I know this doesn't help much but it is where this trait currently stands per my understanding. If others no more, then please chime in

I've seen postings/websites listing pied sided granite or pied sided pewter(I forget which) and I think the same listing also listed pied sided fire but I can't remember for sure.

That being said I don't think it was a breeder I was familiar with so I didn't pay that close attention.

Sean.
