...my cousins tried this, to make $$$money$$$...they went to auction, got a bunch of rabbits, threw them all in a barn ,straw, some boxes(not enough) and all that......a few months later they took them back to auction and lo$t $$$$$, and no babies...

start small,!!!

...I used to breed 1 male to 4 females in a big dog box/run, on legs, wire floor and all....they did pretty well, got babies all year, in winter they would pee on the litter at times and kill them all buried in the straw, I used one big box......but I ate a bunch of rabbits them years....(basically bred them like my mice now)....(rats I bred /breed in a communal colony then take the pregnant girls out to have litter and raise in a lab cage, then back to communal cage)...

.....good luck......have fun.....

I just thought it was interesting because pretty much everything else I read said this couldn't be done.

ooooooh

I didn't know that it couldn't.....

it usually is not done...yes it is a cool story....

anything can be done...

a looong time ago....a great herper told me some thoughts and things...(you gotta remember what you tell and are told)...
he said...
....on latin names...you say it this way I say it that way and they say it a different way, we are all right? or all wrong?...

and along this line...he told me...If I do something this way and you do it totally opposite, and both ways work, we are both correct....there is no wrong way if it works....(Rich Zuchowski 1990)....

so....as I said...start small on anything.....

When I kept rabbits as pets, they were always in one cage, I don't think I'd ever been told to keep them seperate...
