Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum and we're planning on building our savannah's permanent cage soon. Was wondering if anyone could tell me the best wood to use. As far as sturdiness and long term goes. lol I've been reading a few things about marine board but not too sure how strong it is. Any input is appreciated.

The wood doesnt really matter, its what you coat it with. but there are other ways to go about it, stock tanks etc. Go to this forum and the cage forum on this site and search past posts. plus proexotics.com has a ton of great info and pics.

Thanks for your help! I'm definitely a "buy it at the store" type of person... not so much a "do it yourself" type. lol I really appreciate your feedback because this will be my first cage that I'll be buiding and I keep stressing myself out over all the options. I just want to make sure my savannah stays stress free and healthy. I'd like to have her/him for years.
