cage recommendations.

majinchip May 26, 2009 04:44 PM

i'm in the process of deciding which cages to buy. i've heard good things about PVC, plastic and wood, specifically boamaster cages.
i would have to provide radient panel heat, cos the outside temp would be btwn 65-70 for a year or 2. so basically i would like to hear from you guys which ones you use and recommend? what holds heat better? easier to clean? just all around best value? i'm not one who has a huge collection but with what i do have, and hopefully will be adding too, i would like to do it right.

thanks in advance,

I really like the plastic cages, so easy for cleanup. However, with your lower temperatures outside the cage a wood cage would be a better choice for heat retention IMO.

Never bought any new wood cages so don't have experience with the current manufacturers. I've seen boamasters site and ads and looks like a good product. And he's been around for a while and that's always good when thinking of adding more later - assuming you like the first ones.
