ahahahah
i asked a couple of times if it was toooo late to bother with breeding. but i decided to just throw my adult male in with my adult female for the sheer hello of it...i let him in there for 3 or so days. and then removed him for feeding and resting...after a couple of nights i put him back with her....
i went in the snake room earlier to check on the little guy cause hes just finished shedding- needed to clean up after him...
and i looked in on the lovers and their tails looked like there was some penetration going on....
i left the room and went back in there a few minutes later and they were LOCKED!
pics below because im a dork and i got allll excited...

This is some funny stuff.

They can stay locked up for a day up to about 36 hrs , usually I see them in the same position for about 12-16 hrs but they can go longer. The advantage of having hemipenes over just a single "unit" I guess, LOL!

Looks like your "Hooked" now, no pun intended!
Best your other half watch the checkbook for you, this is how it all starts!

"Best your other half watch the checkbook for you, this is how it all starts! "

Sometimes even that doesn't work.

Ain't a damn person in here who hasn't got excited over a lock and got shutter happy.

Congrats on your first lock. It will now become a disease...
