DOR

Last years hatchling

This is one of the reasons gloves are worn

Large female

Adult male

Heading east..

Gentilis/Syspila intergrades

Same area
These look more like red milks

Still further east
Nice orange

another orange one

Love the red on this adult male

Two subadults

Mating glass lizards

Plenty of copperheads around

Another spot
This one a adult male

We saw a coyote run off as we approached these eggs but i dont think they are coyote eggs.

I have missed more then a few episodes of Wild Kingdom but as I recall coyotes dont have clutches this large.

Heading east again to a old farm house

another

One last stop

Last years hatchling

Wow Doug! Nice string of pics and some great syspila you scrounged up! Coyotes do to lay big clutches man....
Thanx for the killer post, nice shots. Jeff

Got milk? Super shots of the speck and prairie, awesome garter! Lots of variety, that old house is my dream house, lol! Great post, Kansas?

Great post, Doug. Looks like the Midwest was a blast this year! I REALLY wish I could have made it. Those intergrade critters sure are smokin', as are the "pure" syspila from further east. Great stuff, man.

Awesome Doug! I love posts like that one! I like all of your pics, but the garter with its mouth open is the coolest
