Newly hatched won't eat

unicorn118 May 27, 2009 09:16 PM

I purchased a newly hatched bp at the last reptile show I went to. He had just finished his first shed. I gave him a f/t pinkie which he attempted to eat (very messy, got about half of it down. yuck). He pooped once. I tried another pinkie the next week, this time a live one. He smells them but wont attempt to eat at all. Tried another frozen, same story. It's been almost a month now. He's still active, but doesn't try to eat. Drinks water, cruises his cage, but won't try to eat. Anyone got any suggestions? Should I look into force feeding and if so, any tips on that? Thanks, Valerie
