Paraglows!

creptilia May 28, 2009 11:33 PM

It has been a long while since we have posted a litter, but I could not help but join in on the fun. It is only May and the boa community has had so many great litters!

This is our first litter of the season, of which I hope will be a good one. We bred a het Boawoman Caramel to a DH Sharp Sunglow to produce these fine creations. (I was hoping for more Paraglows, but that is what you get from a het to het breeding.) If these babies are anything like their parents, they will be very colorful with deep reds and pink highlights. It will be interesting to see how the Paraglows compare with the VPI T Positive Sunglow (which we hope to have within a week).

The first two pics are of one of the Paraglows. The third is of the Mom with her babies. Love the eyes.

Good luck to all of you this season!

Nothing new here since the last time we spoke, except for the fact we have some gravid boas. I can enjoy both my family and newborn boas now that I have a partner. I am excited for this year and not exhausted at the same time.

Good luck to you this season. We will cross paths soon.

Congrates on that litter, they look so light! The eyes are nice! Now lets see a VPI line one!!!!! Good work.

I am working on it. The DH is "nesting" as I type. As you know, there should not be many produced this year. There is so much to do yet with the VPI line- the combos should be coming soon.

Thank you. We have some nice litters lined up, if all goes to plan (breeding boas is so very humbling), but nothing truly "ground breaking." Although, we are very excited to see the long awaited VPI T Positive Sunglow. I love T Positives! There is so much more visual interest and possibilites with this color morph.

I have not taken a recent pic of my Snowglow girl, but she is beautiful, healthy, and has great a temperment. I cannot wait to see her as a 6-7 foot adult. We hope to see some more Snowglows this summer, as well. We will make sure to take some recent pics soon. Good luck to you this season.

CONGRATS RON!

creptilia May 29, 2009 02:52 PM

make sure to post the post shed pics. The T Positives are wonderful boas and fascinating to observe while they mature. Even as adults, I find myself staring at them, trance-like, for an inordinate amount of time. The VPI T Positive Motley is probably the prettiest snake I have ever layed eyes on, and I am sure it will be the same as they are introduced into other color and pattern morphs.

The T's are where its at!
