Egg Boxes

mikebell May 29, 2009 07:59 AM

I wanted to replace what I'm using for egg boxes. I have been using the clear old fashioned hard plastic (poly-styrene) boxes. I like them because the lids fit nice, but they are shorter than I'd like. Eggs have to be seperated to fit.

What does everyone else use? I'd like the lids to fit tight. I don't mind and would prefer a larger box than would hold several clutches.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks Mike

I use the flex seal rubbermaid food storage containers. I think they are around 8 quart. They have a nice rubber seal. I get mine from wall mart they are around $7.00 each. I have seen them on ebay from time to time alot cheaper. I have fourteen eggs in one box from two clutches could prob. hold sixteen eggs with ease.
