These snakes are too cool and I tend to take a lot of pictures.
They will both puff up pretty readily but don't tend to bite, as long as the bluff makes you wary lol.

I really love these animals it is a shame that there are so few of them in the country. Also, if I never held one I would not get your facination with these but since I have I get it, they are just awesome!!! Such a neat animal, I would love to work with someone getting more bloodlines imported with these. I would love to get a whole mess load of CB babies from somewhere like Peru where I held that super yellow one but I can't find an importer interested in working with me on these. They are just uncommon enough to make it too much work for the import guys it seems.
So I guess you better step it up and get yours spitting out some eggs!!! HAHAHA
Jason
The problem has nothing to do with "too much work for the importer" but that they are not available for export out of Peru. The few items coming out of Peru are all farmed or ranched. No one is farming Cribo's at present. Virtually ALL YT Cribo's now imported come from Suriname and Guyana with Guyana being the major source. Therein lies the problem of lack of choice......

I didn't read the first post but the same is true for Psuestes as for YT Cribo's....

Tom can you guy's get snakes out of central America now or is that all closed to export as well?
Nate
Central America is similar to Peru in that only farmed herps can be exported. At present only boas, iguanas, a few Dendrobates Frogs, Red Eye Tree Frogs, etc are exported. There might be one or 2 countries that let wc herps be exported but most do NOT. That is why you don't see more interesting herps around....thanks

It's not like I'm to bummed about countries protecting their natural resources but damn there's some cool snake in some of them.
Thanks for the info Tom,
Nate
I never held one before I started working with them, my fascination was big yellow Arboreal colubrids. Me and a couple others are really working on getting some CBB babies going. I think Tony Carlile (spelling?) is the only one to get babies in the last 5 years or so but he doesn't seem to want to share info.
Nate
Hey Nate. How do you load pics on here to post? Thanks, Bradley.

Ok just look soon in the racer and whip forum and you will. Can you tell me how to put more than 1 url image in one post. Do you use the one bar or more than one? I wanna put several at once. Thanks, Bradley.
