disturbed May 29, 2009 11:40 PM

I know there are crosses out there like hypo hoggs and sunsets but are there any true morph lines out there? Any ideas why there mite not be any just popping up or are they just not that popular of a boa I keep a few and like them very much so just curious. Thanks Keith

I know where 1 of the unproven T albinos are and where 1 was ( think I heard rumors that that one died) and some one posted pics of 3 that someone had produced a couple of years back but wouldn't say who produced them, and nobody else ever came forward with who's they where. there are also a couple of "tiger" lines out there that range from patternless to full reverse stripes. some of the tigers act like co-dom morphs and breed true will other tiger lines are totally random and will through whole litter of tigers one year and normals the next year.

I had someone tell me he had a T positive hog island. This was 4 to 5 years ago. He had pics but they weren't really clear enough. I drove to his place a few hours away and it looked just like a nice hog to me. He also had a number of other animals he was mis-representing (aberrant boas as jungles, etc).

Other than him this is the first I've heard of T positive hog island boas.

their are kind of ugly to be honest. most people don't notice the difference unless you put them next to a normal hog, or they breed hogs and have seen tons of them.they look like their in shed all the time and are purpleish and orange with the black on their tails being the color of caramel ball pythons.

I hope not...

I feel Hog Islands are being bred into other lines too often. Top priority should be to keep Hog Islands as pure as possible, not worrying about color morphs and whatnot.
