so i am still impatiently and excitingly waiting for my first ever clutch to hatch! i was really worried about the top egg in the clutch. it has looked dehydrated for a long while now. but, tonight i was excited to see it with a couple of little cracks where the baby is getting ready to break through! i am beside myself waiting to meet this little guy/girl!! today is day 54. so the other eggs are doing their thing and slowly collapsing like they are supposed to. is there a point where i should help them if they do not open their eggs by a certain time? i have read different things. some people cut the eggs on day 55, some don't do anything? i really want to be a great snake mommy, so please advise me on this. as i said before, this is my first clutch, and i have gotten almost all of my advice from all you very helpful individuals on here. thanks so much for all of you wonderful help! i could not have made it this far without you all!

Let them go to 60 days! Normally, they'll "pip" by then! I always wait for the first one to pip, then cut them all open! Be very careful cutting if you have to!

pip means when it is cut open on its own right? well, the first one has! just a little cut like line in it. should i cut them now then since the first one is?
