my olympus D 380 does clips like that but they come out in .mov format, which is useless to me. i should look into converting to mpg.

yeah, that's quicktime format. My cam records .avi. There should be a bunch of shareware/freeware on the web for converting the .mov to another format.

actually no, i did it with a video camera.
