chamsrcool Sep 13, 2003 09:29 PM

i have baby green anoles that were foundnear august 4th(one on a monday and then one saturday)

when should they be separated if they are males?....i have them in a ten gallon....not heavily plant right now but can be easily rearranged.....one baby shows a small dewlap the other seems to do nothing but stare at the head bobing one

im not sure if they are intimating each other yet becuase they seem to be the same size.

Keep a close eye on them until they get much bigger, big enough for you to distinguish which is female or male, or both are males. If they're males when you're 100% sure, they should be seperated because they will fight to death, which isn't a good news.
