hogs not laying

i breed all my girls the same time only one laid eggs 10 and only one was good but the other girls seem to have absorb there eggs. I think i breed to early . any suggestions ????????? thanks!

I had that same problem a few years back, not really sure what went wrong but i find if you breed one to one or maybe one to two i have much better fertility.

I think that 1.4 is too many females at the same time.
I would have brought 2 females out of cooling first and then 2-3 weeks later bring out the last two. This gives the male a break between breedings.
Also, the male should have gotten the job done with the first or second female. Since he did not, is he too young?
not cooled long enough?
cooling temps were not low enough?
He failed to produce good sperm since none of the females produced a good clutch.
What about your timing for introducing the male?
When I have missed on the first clutch I have continued to put the male in with each female after they shed. I also increase my feeding to both the male and female during this time.
