Having a fun season with the breeding so far and this morning was a good one. Eight eggs from a specter to an incredibly dark yellow belly so if I am lucky I will have a superstripe or two out of it!

Very pretty "girl of color" Matt!!! I have 2 dark Y.B. females -- not quite that dark however. I am also them with a Spector and backing one up with my Reaper founding male. Good luck with this sweet pairing. Do you anticipate ANY chance that the SS will look any different from a DARK Y.B. pairing -- would be nice!!!! Great looking pair right there Matt!!!!

I wouldn't think they would be any different since all morphs vary greatly. I have seen dark yb's throw light ones, yellow ones throw oranges, oranges throw yellows, and so on. Best of luck with your pairings!

THANKS!!! The reason I ask is I can't find many pics of Specters. I have an adult male I got from a friend about a year ago who bought it as a morph but couldn't remember what it was called. I'm just trying to figure it out. He looks a lot like your specter. I hope to put him with my YB next season. I'd love see some white babies or even better, Super Stripes!!! He may just end up being normal.
Excellent pairing and best of luck on the odds!
