I picked up this housesnake the other day, and was curious if anyone new which subspecies this might be. My best guess going by some of the information I found online would be Lamprophis fuliginosus. Thanks for any information & input.

Looks like a fuliginosus to me. I don't know (or agree with) the validity of the subspecies or even some species of this genus.
Pretty snake, either way.

Thanks Chris. I appreciate your input. I think the fact that fuliginosus alone can come in various colors can add to some of the confusion.
My first house snake, and very interesting captives to say the least.
