SK hatchlings

dystopian May 31, 2009 03:29 PM

These two emerged this morning as the last from a clutch of five.

Parents are my WC amel male and a WC normal (white banded) from Liberty Co., FL.

I'll get individual pics of the other three soon. One of them has a neat, slightly aberrant pattern that's far easier to show than describe.

Anyway, I couldn't be happier.

These pictures are from last season.

The white bands on the albino male have since 'mellowed' into a nice cream color. Otherwise, they look pretty much the same.

Enjoy!

Thanks man!

I'd tried this same pairing twice before with no luck. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her with five good eggs.

Now here's hoping that these guys all have (relatively) big appetites...
