Looking for Z's but didn't find any those damn snakes!

We did find one of my other targets in the form of the Desert Night Snake, both were road cruised at 1:30 and 2:30 respectively, air temps were 68-70 surface temps were 74-78 half moon.

Funny thing is both snakes exhibited different threat displays one curled its tail and jerked like a ringneck the other flattened it's body and did the wonky eye head thing.

Two color phases found less than a mile apart.

Wonky eye numero dos

Another shot

A very small gopher

and a gopher from a couple weeks ago

Thanks for looking,
Nate
