time required to shed?

Boo shed
Last night i spent about 3 hours watching Boo as he walked around the tank, rubbing on everything to get the skin off. He was all white. Does anyone know how long it usually takes a leo to shed completely? I could here him for at least 1/2 an hour after i went to bed He has spent alot of time in his humid hide which is moist and warm. There was also a weird looking poop in his cage tonight....normal colour, with the white part but very loose looking. He hasn't touched his mealworms nor the silkworms i bought (UGLY things by the way hehehe).

I am a bit worried about the ceramic tiles i'm using for substrate. Boo went into one of his caves, butted the top of his against the side of it and walked and walked and walked, in the same spot. It was a bit funny to see but now i'm thinking the tiles are to slippery. He has never slipped or anything before.

All of the newbies are doing well. Zoe has gotten into the leg part of a log (i'll have to get pics to explain better), but needless to say i didn't want her to be able to get in it. I had blocked it up with plants but she squeezed by. I woke up this morning to find everyone but Bronx's bowls completely empty. I'm so happy
Thanks,
Red

My leo usually only takes an hour or two to shed once shes turned all white. I have a log and rocks in her cage to rub against which helps.
I always thought silkworms were the nicer looking ones lol. Atleast they dont bite like supers. I had a superworm turn into a beetle once, man are those things ugly!
With the tiles, you might want to get the rougher type, depends on how slippery the ones you have are. If the leo cant get a grip then I'd try to find rougher ones. Later
