CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I'm glad to hear she had babies in her. It's always nice to see those little ones in the goo.
I alwasy take my babies out. I remove the mother first. Then I put the babies in a container with moist paper towels. I change the towels frequently. As the babies crawl around they sort of clean themselves on the paper towels. Just make sure you keep them moist. You might want to mist the babies too.
So, how many did she have?
not sure yet im guessing about 30...
their are several who look like their insides are out...
one who has a bad kink.
and one i know for sure is perfect.
im going to get pics.
WOW!!!
She had a LOT!
The ones with the insides out... could that be yolk that wasn't absorbed??
Be sure to pick them up carefully and don't break the yolk if that's what it is. You might want to give them their own tub. Keep them extra moist. I'm not that good with boas with excess yolk, so I hope someone else chimes in with more advice.
Do any of them look like preemies?? Preemies will have a lot of yolk that's not absorbed or will have a faded look to them. They might look slightly anery in color.
I can't wait to see the pictures.

Congratulations ! I was wrong,LOL
Are they all moving around or in there sacks still ?
If moving around you remove and put into sweaterbox
type container in your rack whatever setup you have
Keep them at about 88*-90* would be my suggestion
with lots of humidity, paper towels as Linda described

Boas By Klevitz

I think female Boas give birth in the wild without us humans ever lending a hand. Therefore I think the best solution is to leave the babies alone.
The exception to this is if you use newspaper or cardboard, you better get the Momma out of there or she might inadvertently squish some of them. Otherwise you can leave her in with them or not. They will be fine with or without Momma as you will not have any predators in there with them. I have had a few babies and I have never had any instance, after I did so, where I thought my intervention was a good idea except one litter of seemingly stillborn babies that I was able to get going this past year. That I think was an exception to the rule. I have had every other scenario under the sun in Boa births and in my opinion, it would never be advisable to move them before they move on their own. Most of the time it just doesn't matter. But in those cases, and especially those cases where they don't seem to be completely ready to take on the world on their own, that is the best time to leave them alone and just keep the cage VERY humid.
That's what I think.
