I have a ten gallon tank equip with a filter. So far i fed them some gamurus larvae, worms, crickets, and insects from outside(in a pestiside free area). I have this calcium block that disolves in water, and dust the gamurus with repcal(which contains vitamin A, and vitimin D3.

sounds like you are doing good so far
but don't forget they need a place to bask so a heat light is important

and

three suggestions:
(1) change the water daily

(2) read through LOTS of the posts on this forum that discuss care of hatchlings

(3) save some cash to but a real big tank or pond; you will need it sooner than you think

good luck

thanks. Is it necessary to have a UVB bulb if your calcium powder has vitamin D3 already. Also is it possible to have 1 bulb that get emit both UVA and UVB, and if not, how much does a UVB bulb go for.

well the jury is not out on the d3 issue so most keepers provide UVB bulbs AND supplement with D3 containing foods and D3-loaded calcium sources. You can get a mercury vapor bulb which emits heat and a large amount of UVA and UVB radiation for between 30 and 60 dollars. Its probably worth the investment.
